Steamoji is a maker academy for kids that trains builders, makers, inventors and entrepreneurs. Steamoji is the first-to-market, STEAM*-focused learning franchise that is disrupting the $122 billion dollar** private-sector education market in North America.
"As a father with two young sons and a background in technology, I know how important it will be for my children to have developed STEAM skills in order to succeed in their future."
Acquiring a Steamoji franchise allows you to help train the next generation of innovators as well as building a profitable business and contributing to your community by becoming a central hub for other families that feel the same way.
Steamoji is a building on a trend in the private-sector, education market for children towards specialization. For many years, tutoring brands promised to help with any subject for any age. In 2002, LA-based Mathnasium broke this mould and started the trend of specialization, in their case only tutoring math. More recently, in 2016 Houston-based Code Ninjas launched a franchise brand around teaching kids how to code. Steamoji builds on this tradition and is the next emerging, STEAM-focused vertical.
*STEM/STEAM? I'm confused. STEAM education is an abbreviation of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. It is slightly different from the commonly-referenced 'STEM' acronym by also including an 'Arts' component, which places an emphasis on important softer design skills, such as design thinking, a growth mindset, iterative development and so on. STEM and STEAM go hand-in-hand with each other.
